No Degree? Then No Film School is for you!

For those of us who are committed to film-making but don't have the money for fancy (and in my opinion, worthless) advanced degrees, there is the expertly written DIY filmmaking blog No Film School, run by one of the smartest and hardest working filmmakers I've ever met.  Ryan Koo not only has a prolific knowledge and keen understanding of both the technical and business sides of content production, he also possesses something twice as valuable: the ability to convey his knowledge in a clear, easy to understand writing style.  He also actively solicits suggestions from his readership, which ensures that the information he provides is both topical and useful.  Check out his article on Zacuto's Camera shootout below, which compares footage from a number of DSLRs against two 35mm film stocks.  Although Ryan wasn't involved in this particular test, I would have never come across such a useful video without checking his site.
